Brand Identity

A new event venue in Iceland needed a brand identity to appeal to corporate organisations, and the general public.

Competitor venues tapped into Iceland's beautiful landscapes and even functional ideas like navigation to inform their brand identities, but none have yet embraced the country’s big heart and liberal outlook.This gap informed the brand positioning and idea, 'Open Doors, Open Minds.'

Verað doesn’t just host events, it hosts an open mindset.

Verað’s progressive values are reflected in the logo, its tone is open and welcoming and the colour palette is inspired by Reykjavik homes. The name is a portmanteaus of English and Icelandic for ‘diverse’ and ‘mixed’. Openness is about diverse thinking so the name is aligns with the ethos in forward and creative thinking.
